Kia Ora Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow golfers, great news, Society 2022 is confirmed from Sun 30 Oct – Fri 4 Nov 22 incl. As in previous years BCDR OH, GP CAPT Rob Shearer, our President, has graciously agreed to host Society Golf 2022 at RNZAF Base Ohakea, with all rounds being played at our ‘Home of Golf’, Rangitikei GC.

Note: COVID protocols IAW MoH and NZDF Health Protection Measures will be in place, especially for larger indoor gatherings. More to follow IDC.
We are anticipating approx 60 players from across all regions for the week and accommodation has been secured for 60 rooms on base. Also, there is now an EFTPOS machine in the OH Combined Mess so paying / swiping for meals should not be an issue.
The format for Society 2022 is yet TBC however the Sponsors (Friends of Society) day will still be held on the Thu, with prize giving in the WO&SNCO Mess on Thu evening, and the obligatory AGM on the Mon evening, exact timings TBC. If you have any agenda items for the AGM please send them through to me asap but by NLT COB 14 Oct 22.
Following on the fashion trends from previous years, there will be a ‘Fashion in the Field’ Theme – Colours of the World. The brighter the better!!!!
